TapToCode ("the App") is developed by an independent developer. Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your choices.

1. Data We Collect

Analytics (TelemetryDeck)

The App uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service, to understand how players interact with the game. TelemetryDeck collects:

• Anonymised usage events (e.g. career promotions, upgrade purchases, session duration)
• Device type and OS version (aggregated, not personally identifiable)

TelemetryDeck does not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, or any personally identifiable information. Data is processed in the EU and is GDPR-compliant by design. See TelemetryDeck's privacy policy.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App may show optional rewarded video advertisements via Google AdMob. If you grant permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, AdMob may collect:

• Advertising identifier (IDFA)
• Device and network information for ad personalisation

If you decline the ATT prompt or purchase the "Remove Ads" upgrade, no advertising data is collected. See Google's privacy policy.

In-App Purchases (Apple StoreKit)

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. The App does not process or store any payment information. See Apple's privacy policy.

Game Centre

Leaderboard scores and achievements are submitted to Apple Game Centre. This data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

iCloud Sync

Your game save is synced across your devices via Apple's CloudKit. Save data is stored in your private iCloud container and is not accessible to the developer.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• Names, email addresses, or contact information
• Location data
• Photos, files, or other personal content
• Health, fitness, or biometric data

3. Data Storage

Game progress is stored locally on your device (via SwiftData) and optionally in your private iCloud container. Analytics data is stored on TelemetryDeck's EU servers. The developer does not operate any backend servers.

4. Third-Party Services

• TelemetryDeck — Privacy-first analytics
• Google AdMob — Rewarded video ads (optional, with ATT consent)
• Apple — StoreKit, Game Centre, iCloud, App Tracking Transparency

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the App, please contact us.

6. Your Choices

• Decline tracking: Deny the ATT prompt to prevent ad-related tracking.
• Remove ads: Purchase "Remove Ads" to eliminate all advertising and related data collection.
• Delete data: Delete the App to remove all local data. iCloud data can be deleted via Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.
• Reset progress: Use Settings → Reset All Progress within the App to wipe your game state.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
